...happy face...

One of my co-workers told me today that I am one of the happiest pregnant people that she's seen in a long time!  Are you shocked faced right now?!  Did you go back and read that again??  Hahaha!!

Well, it's true!  I'm a happy pregnant lady!

Okay, so back to why I decided to do a second blog for the day.  I truly appreciated her saying that to me.  Because at the most bizarre times I may feel like a complete mess.  No matter what it is that I'm going thru in my life, I try to keep a happy face.  Just because I'm a mess in my head, doesn't mean I need to let the world know that!  Seeing an unhappy pregnant (or anyone for that matter) person, can really mess you up.  You would think that this IS supposed to be a joyous moment!  But you don't know what it is, that's making them feel like that.  Maybe they are eating their lunch an hour later than what they want.  Maybe their clothes don't fit.  Maybe something as simple as walking to the corner to get lunch is a task!  ...I'm guilty for all 3 charges!  But she didn't see that... she saw that glow!  She saw a beautiful face with a crazy bush!  Something about me made her say something.  I'm so thankful for her!  And then she proceeds and says that I'm an overall happy person and it shows not only thru me, but thru my daughter.  Anyone that's met my daughter knows that she is my world and I'm hers!  She is truly a blessing to me.  Even when she thinks I'm being mean to her, I love her... too much!  I'm mean, because I don't want her to grow up to be a mess!  I'm mean because I don't want her to grow up and be disrespectful.  We have our fun, but she also knows when I mean business... for the most part!

I was wondering when the right time would be for me to let my ...perfectly imperfect... family know my great news... well, now you know!

Oh, I was reading a Joel Osteen heem earlier and this stuck out to me... so I wanted to share with you all.

"Life is full of things that try to push us down. We all face disappointments and setbacks. Maybe you received some bad news about your health or perhaps a relationship didn’t work out. That was a setback. It’s easy to get discouraged or lose your enthusiasm or even be tempted to just settle where you are. But if we’re going to see God’s best, we have to have a “bounce back” mentality. That means when you get knocked down, you don’t stay down. You get back up again. You have to know that every time adversity comes against you, it’s a setup for a comeback!"

"If you stay in faith, then God will turn what was meant to be a stumbling block into a stepping stone, and you’ll move forward in strength, full of faith and victory!"

Soooooo true!!  I loved this too much not to share!
